Samira Bawumia meets stars of Kumkum Bhagya in India

Ask any random Ghanaian to name their top three favorite television programs today, and no doubt the series Kumkum Bhagya will be part of that list.

The Indian series which is aired on Adom TV every weekday is ranked as among the most watched TV programs in Ghana.

And we all know Ghanaians do love their drama show; remember Acapulco Bay and Esmeralda? With the love Ghanaians have for the Indian series, it comes as quite the delightful surprise to see our Second Lady, Samira Bawumia meeting one of the stars of the show, Shivani Sopori.

During one of her stops in India, Samira visited the set of the popular show to meet and interact with some of the cast.

The photo of the pair was posted on Instagram by Shivani (the character Pammi in the series) who described the meeting as an honor and a pleasure.

Judging by the comments some Ghanaians gave under the post, the move was welcomed by the fans of show, and no doubt they will be rushing home to their TV sets to catch the next episode.
