It’s not enough to beg for alms – Stonebwoy to youth

Reggae and afro-pop artiste, Stonebwoy has made a passionate appeal to the youth as well as the physically challenged to put their talents to work instead of begging for alms.

The BET Award winner who has observed an escalation of the trend in an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM counseled that it was best for people to believe in themselves and channel their energies into something better.

“Success is in the mind so we have to conscientise our people so they build their self-esteem. When I see this every day, I’m not happy. You see people selling while others beg for one cedis. How much can I give you at that moment?” he queried.

Now a celebrated act, Stonebwoy was involved in a fatal accident several years ago which led to the death of his twin brother and caused him to limp whenever he walked. Despite the challenge, he was optimistic of making it in life as he worked fervently towards his set goals, abrantepa.com can state.

He believes one would excel if they realized their potentials and work on accordingly. Stonebwoy is set to hold the ‘Bhim Concert’ after putting together the ‘Ashaiman to the World’ concert in September where the night recorded over 50,000 people.

Dubbed the EOM (Epistles Of Mama) Album Release Edition, the event slated for December 22, 2017 at the Accra International Conference Centre will see Rocky Dawuni, Becca, Kumi Guitar, Obibini, Joyce Blessing, Samini, VVIP, Joey B, Kojo Funds, Kofi Kinaata, Kelvyn Boy, Eden, Mugeez, Yaa Pono, and King Promise perform.

Meanwhile Stonebwoy has released the much anticipated Epistles Of Mama album.
