My style of rap has changed because I'm now a grown artiste - Sarkodie

Ghana's fastest rapper alive, Sarkodie has indicated that there has been a change in his style of rap because he is now a grown artiste.

Ghanaians have always complained about the artiste's style of music since he became a superstar. People have said currently he does not punch and his music is now mostly about his life and problems he has faced.

But speaking to Accra-based Starr FM ahead of his Rapperholic concert, the Sarkcess Music Icon indicated that the change is owed to the fact that he has now grown in the music industry and needs to change his style.

He indicated that while he was coming up as an artiste, he was going through a lyrical exercise and therefore has now found his feet and since then there is no turning back.

"When I was coming up as an artiste, I was going through what I call a lyrical exercise. By then I just hopped onto just any beat to do something because I had to but for now, I've grown in the industry and found my feet hence the change in my style," he told Accra-based Starr FM.
