Former Ridge Medical Director says government is been fair to him.

17-5-17 Former Ridge Medical Director says government is been fair to him.Sacked Medical Director of the Ridge Regional Hospital Dr. Thomas Anaba said the government has not been fair to him for relieving him from his post without any reason and demanding explanation.

Dr. Anaba’s appointment was supposed to last till 2020 and had the option to re-apply but that appointment has been revoked. He was appointed on February 1, 2016 during the tenure of former President John Mahama.
Speaking to Vision 1 News reporter Akora Kofi Darko, Dr. Anaba indicated that he managed the hospital very well and doesn’t see why the health minister should write him a letter to relieved him without any tangible reason but believes it was not politically motivated.

He also said the minister of health Kwaku Agyemang Manu has no right to sack him but will not take any legal action against him.

Meanwhile all attempts by vision 1 news to reach the minister, the public service commission and the Ghana health service to respond to the issues proves futile as all these agencies have been tied lipped.
Vision 1 News also spoke to some workers at the Ridge hospital about their view on the exit of Dr. Anaba.
