NPP has not been fair to us, we won’t sacrifice again - Delta Force

Eight members of the vigilante group associated with the ruling New Patriotic Party, Delta Force, freed by Kumasi Circuit Court have vowed never to sacrifice themselves for the party again following neglect from the party while they stood trial before the law.

The Kumasi Circuit Court today struck out a case in which eight members of the Vigilante group, Delta Force, affiliated to the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) were being tried for aiding the escape of their 13 colleagues from lawful custody.

The court presided over by her Patricia Amposah arrived at the decision after the prosecution failed to provide evidence against the accused.

A leading member of the Delta Force 8 who spoke on condition of anonymity in an interview with Abusua FM’s Osei Kwadwo after the court ruling disclosed that ”the party didn’t us well at all and so therefore we are not going to sacrifice for the party anymore.”

“Majority of us fell sick after servicing our prison sentence, we want our party to do something for us else we will think about ourselves and leave the party’s matters” he said.
