Don’t tag me a failure - Frimpong Manso

Asante Kotoko assistant Coach Frimpong Manso has refused a failure tag despite failing to win a single GPL game when he headed the technical bench of the Club.

The Porcupine Warriors endured a downward spiral after going seven games without a win after the sacking of Dzravko Logarusic as head coach of the team.

Manso was brought to turn things around for the Porcupine Warriors but his short stint as head coach could not produce good result for the club and now has been reassigned to assist Steve Pollack but insists Kotoko’s problem existed before his take over.

“When I came the problem was there but I tried so you can’t use just four, five matches to judge me as a failure and will just not accept it”, he told Starr Sports.

Kotoko finished the first half of the league by placing 7th with 21points.

The second round of the league will kicks start May.
