Zoomlion Waste Management Company has disinfected 98 middle school schools in North East, Savannah and Northern regions.
The dinning halls, dormitories, classes, offices and other facilities of the assorted lycee schools were disinfected.
Final year SHS 3 students, along with SHS 2 Gold Track students will resume on June 22 and final year JHS 3 students,
the week after on Christian holy day with strict adhering not the protocols.
The various tertiary institutions within the region were also disinfected moreover.
About 8,000 basic schools in North East, Savannah and Northern region are expected to be disinfected before they reopen.
The Northern Regional Manager of Zoomlion, Dawuni Peter appealed to heads of the high school schools within the region to confirm that they adhere to the health protocols when school reopens.
“Once schools resumes, they have to look at the health protocols,
so they’re going to be saved from being infected by Covid-19 virus.
Alhaji Abdullah Abu, Assistant Headmaster of Ghanasco said the disinfection exercise was timely adding
the chemicals could kill other inserts within the dormitory and classrooms.
University management will meet within the week to place in health protocol measures before the reopening of the varsity.
