The Ghana Meteorological Agency has said the recent harmattan being experienced across the country will continue till Sunday, 16 February 2020.
In a statement, the agency said the atmosphere will remain dry and hazy with a drastic reduction in visibility of not less than 1 km to a little above 3 km.
The Meteo said night to early morning hour temperatures will be relatively cool over the northern half of the country while the afternoon hours will be warm with hazy sunshine dominating.
The agency noted that from its fire monitoring charts and other meteorological parameters, there is a very high probability of fire outbreaks due to careless handling of open fires.
It has, therefore, advised liquified petroleum gas operators and the public to be mindful of naked fires.
